But I will say, that focusing only on technical skills and ignoring communication, emotional intelligence, mindset & behavioral skills, does lead to substandard communication, ineffective leadership, increased conflict, poor team cohesion, poor team performance, disengagement, low productivity, low morale, & high employee turnover. Without developed & nuanced behavioural skills, rarely does trust & respect exist, and we know, this is vital for true collaboration. Meet Ruben Ruolle: Leadership consultant, coach & facilitator

Ruben is AASW accredited, & a certified leadership coach. He also brings over 16 years of leadership experience from the Healthcare, Drug & Alcohol and Mental Health sectors into his role as a consultant, coach & facilitator. WHY does Ruben do what he does? He has seen the damage done to teams & organisations through poor &/or the absence of leadership, where wellbeing & psychological safety are not prioritised. Ruben wants this to change so that leaders are empowered, teams are inspired and service users receive the best care possible. His approach is deeply human-centered, aimed at empowering leaders to have a positive influence where leaders, high-trust teams & organisations thrive. Challenging, yes, impossible, no.
