Meet Ruben Ruolle- the founder & Director of Otherside edge. Ruben has been led by exemplary leaders & has also had the unfortunate experience of witnessing managers who 'lead' through command & control behaviours. The later does not lead to empowered high performance teams or achieve desired organisational outcomes. This is why, Ruben does what he does, working to change the trajectory of leaders, their teams and organisations in the Health, Community Services & NFP service sectors

Ruben is an accredited Social worker, & an accredited Leadership consultant, coach & facilititator, & he brings 20 years of both Clinical & practical leadership experience and expertise in mid-level and senior leadership positions (including Director roles) in the Drug & Alcohol and Mental Health service sectors, to the table.
Throughout my career, I have successfully led large, diverse multidisciplinary teams in complex health, Community service & NFP service sector environments. I understand the unique challenges of resource limitations and serving clients/patients with complex needs. Modern leadership requires that leaders put their employees first through human centred leadership, whist balancing organizational technical requirements and achieving results. Leadership can feel like walking a tightrope, and it is not for the faint hearted!
